For men who feel inadequate because of the size of their penis, there are several procedures available to increase girth and length. Fat grafting is a minimally invasive procedure that transfers purified fat from the patient’s body to the penile shaft. A type of stem cell has been found in adipose tissue which could also help stimulate blood flow and natural growth. Fat grafting, unlike dermal fillers, also has the advantage of being derived from the patient so there is no chance of substance rejection. 

The goal fat transfer for penis enlargement is to increase penile length and girth. This is different from penile implants that treat erectile dysfunction.

How is The Procedure Done?

Before a fat grafting procedure, adipose tissue must be collected and purified. Dr Wilson performs Liposuction , typically on the stomach or thighs, although fat can be collected from most anywhere on the body with unwanted fatty deposits. Once enough fat is collected the fat will be purified, removing cell debris, blood, and infiltration fluid. A small incision will be made at either the base of the penis or within a previous circumcision scar so that the cannula can be inserted. Fat will then be distributed around the shaft of the penis, between 30-65mL, although amount may be more or less depending on the patient. Once complete, the fat may be manually manipulated to ensure even dispersal of the fat. Patient will have to wear loose fitting clothes for 1-2 weeks, can resume penetrative sex after 1-2 weeks, and should refrain from strenuous exercise for 1 month.

What Should I expect from the Procedure?

By meticulous fat injection, it is possible to preserve 70 % of the injected fat and achieve stable increases in penis size.

Injection of Fillers

Temporary Fillers such as Juvederm, Restylane, Teoxane and Macrolane could be also used to increase the girth and length of the Penis. It is simpler to inject tham and achieve the same results as fat, however they have the major disadvantage of being totally absorbed within 9 months, and need repetition of the procedure.

Release of the Suspensory Ligament

For men who are self conscious about the size of their flaccid penis, ligament transection can increase the length of the penis when it is not erect. This surgery releases the suspensory ligament which anchors the penis to the pubic symphysis.  This ligament between the penis and the pubic symphysis helps to keep a portion of the penis safely within the body while also providing support for the penis when it is erect. It also creates the appearance of an arched angle between the penile base and pubic area. By cutting this ligament, the flaccid penis is effectively lengthened since there is no support to keep the penis inside of the body. The penis will also lay lower against the body at an obtuse angle, giving the perception of lengthening.

How is Release of the Suspensory Ligament Performed?

During surgery, the patient will be placed under general anesthesia. The ligament will be accessed through a V shaped incision on the pubic area. Through this incision, the suspensory ligament will be severed and a buffer will be placed between the penis and the pubic symphysis to help prevent reattachment. Buffer materials may include tissue flaps or silicone implants. When the procedure is complete, the V shaped incision will be closed in the shape of a Y for further lengthening on the penis.

Recovery after Release of the Suspensory Ligament

Patients should expect to need at least 2 days of recovery before returning to work. Light exercise can be resumed after 1 week however more strenuous activity should be limited for 1 month. Normal sexual activity is permitted after 4-6 weeks. Some patients will experience a slight pain while having an erection. Final results can be seen 3-6 months after the procedure.

Enhanced Penis Girth and enlarged Penis Length by Fat Injection: in a 28 -year old athlete who was self-conscious about the small size of the penis. Using 18 mls of fat, Dr Wilson increased the girth by from 9 cm to 11 cm, and patient was very proud of his new manhood.

And after the Enlargement

Increase Penis Girth and Penis Length by Fat Injection: in a 44 -year old patient. Patient was very happy with the 2.5 cm increase in girth of the penis, and 1 cm increase in length after the fat injection.

Enhanced Penis Width and Penis Length by Fat Grafting: in a 34 -year old patient. The width of the penis increased by 2 inches following fat injection and the patient had improved sexual life.

Removal of Previous Filler, Fat Injection and Suspensory Ligament Release: in a deformed bent penis who previously had Juvederm Voluma filler Injection at another Clinic. There was asymmetry in the penis and deformity and small irregular shape from the previous filler injection. The Filler was removed and Fat Injected in the Penis and Suspensory Ligament released. Note the increased girth and increased length of the Penis and correction of deformities.

Hyaluronic Acid Filler Injection to increase Penis Girth by 3.7 cm

This new bridegroom surprised his wife by the new width of his penis, that was achieved after Dr Wilson injected 20 ml of Hyaluronic Acid filler in it. They were very happy with the result.

And Late Result

Fat Injection on top of previous Silicon Rod implants.  This patient previously had Silicon rod implanted in his penis for erectile Dysfunction. However he was still unsatisfied with the Girth of his penis. 25 mls of fat were injected to increase the girth and enhance the performance.
